Root yourself as a World Tree that cannot move like a normal survivor. Press Z to extend your mind into a Carrat, then explore, gather, and carry natural resources back to your roots. Growth unlocks starlight, six usable Carrat slots, a private 27-slot root storage, and new ways to survive.
Because I wanted a Ginger Island start, I made one. You wake up on the shore with nothing; explore, survive, build a camp, and gradually earn your way back to the mainland. Pirates will raid you once you’ve built up enough wealth.
Fishing doesn’t have to mean standing on the dock all day. Place a net in the water, leave it overnight, and come back to collect the catch the next day. Durability keeps the system from being completely hands-off.
A deliberately overpowered all-in-one tool. Chop, mine, harvest, end mummies, and summon rotating sword formations. This one is built for fun first — including the weather-changing “Weather Child” skill.

This isn’t a one-button utility item. You first find the flute, then learn six melodies through a shop, limited-time letters, NPC stories, and secret rituals. Only when the character actually performs the tune do the animation, visuals, and spell payoff happen: watering, growth boosts, monster control, going home, and lightning.
Mods aren’t the end. They’re where I started making games.
I’ll keep expanding Ginger Island Survival into a bigger project, and I’ll keep testing original gameplay ideas across different games. Long term, I want to make my own game.
